6.1 Magnitude Earthquake Struck Kyushu, Japan – USGS
Tokyo, April 9 — A 6.1 magnitude quake struck Kyushu, Japan this Saturday, U.S. Geological Survey stated.
Around 1257 GMT (21:57 local time) having a depth of 21.3km, the epicenter was located south Miyazaki, Kyushu southwest of Tokyo.
No fatalities and casualties reported and no tsunami warning were issued.
